@ The Virtually Acoustic @ The L...

The open mic takes place in a dedicated room upstairs. The crowd is very listenfull, there is not a single noise and everybody pays attention to the music. Sound quality is great. Make sure you arrive no later than 6:30 to secure a good slot.

The Virtually Acoust...

My experience at the library was a tad bizarre, given that half way through, a performer on the list attempted to assault one of the other performers. However, aside that, the Library maintains its position as a lovely venue for original acoustic music. It is a very small room, but performers are very respectfully received, and the night has a very chilled out vibe.

This was the second time I have played here. There were 14 acts, which is quiet compared to how it was the first time. But the quality of musicians and beautiful sound made it a memorable night. You can even feel the great sound while you're playing and thus enjoy listening to yourself. And a tight knit community as always, which makes it a pleasant visit.

good sound, room and host. very intimate atmosphere and attentive audience mostly composed by the musicians. sadly, no keyboard, but I brought my own and the host was completely fine with it.

Really small and quiet room, with really respectful audience mostly made of performers. Good for folk, quiet, intimate performances, great sound, and David (host) is adorable.
