GOOT's Review
@ West End Wendies! at The Loft ...

Unique open mic. It takes place in 'The Loft' of Brasserie Toulouse Lautrec, a big and lovely room with great stage and a grand piano. The light and sound quality is excellent, for both the crowd and the musicians on stage.

The crowd is very cheerful, listenful and welcoming to new faces. You can perform all kinds of music, covers or original songs. A house guitar is also available.

Here you can play several songs, but one at a time. Brilliant system made by the host, Paul L Martin, that keeps the night vibrant and dynamic till the end. Paul L Martin as a talented singer and host, who will turn every transition between two artists into a musical one man show. He knows how to highlight artists on stage and will make look sexier than ever.

Great crowd. The venue has a piano.
What a great open mic. I loved the people and how welcoming they were.

Pls note - you only get 1 song - and another if everyone's had a song. Welcoming host (questionable humour); well turned out warm crowd but ultimately this is for those who appreciate and perform show tunes (covers of). A lot of the participants are semi/professional.

An intimate friendly place to relax and listen to some great music hosted by a welcoming host.

One of the biggest Open Mics out there. Heavily attended with some of the most fantastic performers in London. This goes without saying Paul L Martin is fantastic compere.
